Strengthening Research Capacity: A Valuable Session at MTU

MTU School of Engineering Applauds Nepal Engineering Council’s Successful Seminar

Manmohan Technical University School of Engineering extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Nepal Engineering Council for the successful organization of the Washington Accord Seminar-6.The seminar, focused on transforming engineering education through Outcome-Based Education (OBE), marks a significant step toward enhancing the quality and global recognition of engineering programs in Nepal.We are proud to have collaborated in this important initiative alongside Mid-West University and Purbanchal University, and look forward to continued partnerships in advancing engineering education.

MoU signed between SoE, MTU and Nepal Engineering Council(NEC).

On 17th Oct, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) and Manmohan Technical University (MTU) for commitment and collaboration towards Outcome Based Education and establishment of an accreditation framework aligned with provisions of the Washington Accord.On the behalf of the Manmohan Technical University, Vice Chancellor Dr Subash Shree Pokhrel and Dean of School of Engineering Dr Rekha Shrestha signed the MoU.Similarly on the behalf of Nepal Engineering Council Chairman Prof  Dr Padam Shahi and Registrar Er Dhruba Bhattarai signed the MoU.

MoU signed between SoE, MTU and Everest Expert Institute.

A Memorandum of Agreement was signed between the School of Engineering, Manmohan Technical University (SOE, MTU) and Everest IT Expert Institute on June 13, 2025, at the office of the Dean, School of Engineering, in the presence of officials from both organizations.This agreement establishes a collaborative framework for organizing a specialized training program on "Cloud Solutions Specialist" for students of the School of Engineering. Under this partnership, Everest IT Expert Institute will be responsible for delivering the training, while SOE, MTU will facilitate the overall implementation of the program. The training will be conducted over a period of one month, commencing from June 16, 2025.

MoU signed between SoE and GI Solar Pvt. Ltd.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the School of Engineering (SoE), Manmohan Technical University (MTU), and G.I. Solar Pvt. Ltd. at MTU. The signing took place in the presence of Vice Chancellor Dr. Subash Shree Pokharel and Registrar Dr. Dilnath Fuel. Mr. Ghalab Bahadur Dhungana, Managing Director of G.I. Solar Pvt. Ltd., and Prof. Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan, Dean of SoE, exchanged the signed documents. The MoU primarily focuses on collaboration in weather monitoring and photovoltaic systems.

Visiting lecture delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sujan Tripathi

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sujan Tripathi ( Thapathali  Campus, IoE, TU) delivered Guest-lectures on Structural Dynamics  course to the students of Manmohan Technical University, School of Engineering (Civil Engineering (III/ II)), from  3 May  to 6 May, 2025. Dr. Tripathi's  valuable input has been appreciated by the School Of Engineering.
