Guest Lectures to the Students of Electrical and Electronics Engg by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Basanta Kumar Gautam and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ram Kaji Budathoki

On Baisakh 30, 2081, (12 May, 2024) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Basanta Kumar Gautam from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IOE Pulchowk Campus and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ram Kaji Budathoki from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University presented guest lectures to the students of Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Manmohan Technical University. The lectures were focused on providing insights about the scopes, applications and research trends in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Manmohan Technical University, School of Engineering, Morang and PEA, Ktm jointly organized a Quiz contest Program.

Monmahan Technical University, School of Engineering, Morang and PEA, Ktm jointly organized a Quiz contest Program at the School of Engineering on 2nd March, 2024. Thirty four teams had participated the competition from +2 level Science stream students. The inauguration was chaired by the Dean of School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Prachanda Man Pradhan and the Chief Guest was graced by Prof. Devi Psd Bhattarai, dean of Purbachal University, Morang. Officials from PEA and MTU managed the contest successfully. SikshyaDeep Sec. School of Biratnagr bagged 1st and 2nd positions. While   Susma Sec.School and Everest were achieved 3rd and 4th positions.

मनमोहन प्राविधिक विश्वविद्यालय, स्कूल अफ इन्जिनियरिङमा खेलकुद दिवस-२०८० (Sports Meet 2024) संचालन

मनमोहन प्राविधिक विश्वविद्यालय स्कूल अफ इन्जिनियरिङ द्वारा संचालित  मिति २०८० माघ २१ गते देखि संचालन भई २४ गते समापन हुने ४ दिने खेलकुद दिवस-२०८० (Sports Meet - 2024),को विश्वविद्यालय खेलमैदानमा भव्य कार्यक्रमका बिच उद्घाटन भयो।स्नातक तह इन्जिनियरिङ तर्फका विद्यार्थीहरुको खेलकुद दिवसको  उद्घाटन कार्यक्रमको अध्यक्षता स्कूल अफ इन्जिनियरिङका डीन प्रा. डा. प्रचण्डमान प्रधानले गर्नुभएको थियो।मनमोहन प्राविधिक विश्वविद्यालयका बोर्ड अफ ट्रष्टिजका सदस्य श्री सत्यनारायण चौधरी, मनमोहन स्मृति पोलिटेक्निकका प्राचार्य इ. सुदिप अधिकारी, स्नातक तह फार्मेशी कार्यक्रमका संयोजक साइबिजय रिजाल, सिभिल कार्यक्रमका बिभागिय प्रमुख ओमनारायण चौधरी, इलेक्ट्रिकल्स एण्ड इलेक्ट्रोनिक्स बिभागका बिभागिय प्रमुख डा. दिपरंजन डंगोल समेतको बिशेष आतिथ्यता रहेको उक्त कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख अतिथि मनमोहन प्राविधिक विश्वविद्यालयका रजिष्ट्रार डा. दिलनाथ फुएल हुनुहुन्थयो।श्री सत्यनारायण चौधरीले आफ्नो बिचार व्यक्त गरे पश्चात प्रमुख अतिथि डा. दिलनाथ फुएलले शिक्षा संगसंगै खेलकुदको विषयमा प्रकाश पारी विद्यार्थीहरुलाई हौशला प्रदान गर्नु भएको थियो।विद्यार्थीहरुले राष्ट्रिय झण्डा सहित आ-आफ्नो सदनको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै मार्चपास गरि मैदान प्रवेश गरेका थिए।बिभिन्न जातजातीको भेषभुषामा सझिएका बिद्यार्थीहरुले नृत्य समेत प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए।“इन्जिनियरको व्याथा अरुलाई के थाहा” नामक फेसबुक ग्रुप मिडिया पार्टनर रहेको उक्त कार्यक्रममा “गोरखा इको प्यानल” को तर्फबाट केही थान जर्सी सौजन्य स्वरुप प्राप्त भएको थियो।रजिष्ट्रार डा. दिलनाथ फुएलले राष्ट्रिय झण्डा फहराउदै कार्यक्रमको उद्घाटन गर्नुभयो भने डीन प्रा.डा. प्रचण्डमान प्रधानले आफ्नो अमुल्य विचार राखेर उद्घाटन कार्यक्रमको समापन गर्नु भयो।

Welcome and Orientation Program for Newly Admitted Students of 2080/081

Manmohan Technical University, School of Engineering successfully organized a “Welcome and Orientation Program” to the newly admitted 2080/081 batch students of BE in Civil Engineering and BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 22 January 2024.The orientation program was chaired by the Dean of School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan. The program was graced by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Subash Shree Pokharel and the Registrar, Dr. Dilnath Fuel along with Board of Trusty members Mr. Satyanarayan Chaudhary and Mr. Balabhadra Sardar. The program was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, Dr. Subash Shree Pokharel by lighting lamp (Panas) followed by his valuable words of wisdom. A welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Anisha Ruchal, a student from second year Civil Engineering. The Head of Departments Dr. Deepranjan Dongol and Omnarayan Chaudhary welcomed the students with garlands Among the speakers were Mr. Satyanarayan Chaudhary, and Mr. Yubaraj Chaudhary who delivered motivational speeches inclusive of rules and regulations of MTU.Finally, the Dean of School of Engineering gave away Vote of Thanks and closed the session.

Dean of Manmohan Technical University Inaugurated 26th Earthquake Safety Day

The Dean of School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan inaugurated the 26th Earthquake Safety Day organized by Kerabari Rural Municipality, Morang on 16th of January, 2024 (2080 Magh 02). Earthquake Safety Day is organized to commemorate the 1934 A.D. earthquake, which is considered as one of the biggest earthquake disasters ever occurred in Nepal. The program was chaired by Mr. Suman Miringching, the Chair Person of Kerabari Rural Municipality. A rally was initiated from the Office of the Rural Municipal Executive consisting of Deputy Chair Person, Chief Executive Officer, elected members of Kerabari RM, Local Political Leaders, various School children and Officials from various government and non-government organizations. Professor Pradhan also delivered a presentation on “Earthquake Disasters, prevailing construction practice and suggestions”, which was the main event.

Monitoring From Nepal Engineering Council at School of Engineering

A Monitoring/Observation team from Nepal Engineering Council inclusive of Dr. Suraj Lamichhane, Dr. Reshma Shrestha and Mr. Dipendra Bariyat visited the School of Engineering at Manmohan Technical University, Budhiganga-4, Morang on 2nd January 2024. The visit was particularly for the monitoring and observation purpose.Initally, a meeting was held at the Vice Chancellor.s Office. Honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Subash Shree Pokharel, Registrar, Dr. Dilnath Fuel, Dean of School of Engineering Prof. Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan, Acting Head of Departments Dr. Deepranjan Dongol (Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and Mr. Omnarayan Chaudhary (Department of Civil Engineering) and other Faculties and Officials discussed on the prevailing academic programs on Engineering.The dean of School of Engineering delivered a brief presentation on the capacity and strength of the School of Engineering and submitted a report on the status of engineering programs at Manmohan Technical University.
