MTU School of Engineering meets press in different locations
Manmohan Technical University organized “Press Meet” from falgun 19 to 21 in Birtamode, Lahan and Dhankuta. The purpose of this meet was to disseminate information about the University to the general public of Province 1 as well as make them aware of the offered academic programs.

Opening of online application form for undergraduate level engineering programs
The School of Engineering under Manmohan Technical University has opened enrollment of new students in four-year undergraduate level engineering programs. Application for the Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Electrical and Electronics programs has opened from February, 24, 2022.The application forms are available at the website of the university. According to the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Subash Shree Pokhrel, the university shall start its academic session as soon as the students are enrolled. Dr. Prachanda Man Pradhan, The Dean of the School of Engineering, mentioned that the intake capacity for this 2022 academic session is 24 seats for each program. He also mentioned that the School of Engineering plans to increase the number of academic programs in the coming years.

Honourable Governor of Province 1 Mr. Somnath Adhikari Pyasi visits MTU
Honourable Governor of Province 1, Somnath Adhikari Pyasi and former Minister for Social Development Hon'ble Jivan Ghimire visited Manmohan Technical University, Budhiganga-4, Morang today. On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Subash Shree Pokhrel welcomed the governor and briefed him about the activities of Manmohan Technical University.

A welcome program was conducted to welcome newly appointed dean of Manmohan Technical University, School of Engineering, Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan. Vice-Chancellor of MTU, Dr. Subash Shree Pokhrel welcomed and Congratulated Dr. Pradhan for being appointed as Dean of MTU, School of Engineering. Visit of Co-Chancellor Hon. Social Development Minister Mrs. Usha Kala Rai
Honorable Scial Development MInister of Province 1, Nepal, Mrs. Usha Kala Rai, also the Co-Chancellor of Manmohan Technical University visited the university premises in Budhiganga Rural Municipality, ward number 4, Morang. On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Subash Shree Pokharel and other officials, teachers and staff of the university gave a grand welcome. During the visit, the Honorable Minister and CO-Chancellor of the university discussed the achievements, progress, opportunities and challenges of Manmohan Technical University so far.

MoU signed between Manmohan Technical University (MTU) and Kathmandu University (KU)
An MoU signing ceremony was held between Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel and Manmohan Technical University, Budhiganga at Senate Hall, CV Raman Auditorium, Kathmandu University on July 15, 2021, with an aim to strengthen Nepal’s Science and Engineering education.Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Vice-Chancellor signed on the behalf of KU whereas Dr. Subash Shree Pokhrel, Vice-Chancellor signed on the behalf of MTU. Prof. Dr. Manish Pokharel, Dean, Kathmandu University School of Engineering welcomed the guests, and Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, Registrar, KU offered the vote of thanks.
