The School of Engineering at Manmohan Technical University honoured the students of Engineering with Tika and Khada who secured excellent grades (A+, A and class toppers) in the Board examination of MTU, which were held between 2081/02/20 and 2081/03/09 (2 June 2024 and 23 June 2024) on 1 August 2024.
On 25 June 2024 (2081/03/11), Faculty Board meeting (Vidya Parishad) of School of Engineering, Manmohan Technical University was held under the Chairmanship of Dean, Prof.Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan. The meeting was successfully concluded which had some important agenda for adding some new courses. The members of the committee and some invitees were present on the occasion.
Manmohan Technical University, Office of the Dean, School of Engineering organized "Diligent and Partial Scholarship Distribution Program" (Jehendar tatha Sahuliyat Chatrabritti Bitaran Karyakram) for the students of BE in Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Batch 2080/081) on 2081.02.08. ( 21st, May,2023). The Program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan, Dean of SOE, The scholarship amounts were distributed by the Dean of School in the presence of Dr. Deepranjna Dongol, HOD of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Er. Om Narayan Chaudhari, HOD, Department of Civil Engineering, Mr. Sujan Bhurtel, Senior Account Officer, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Rai, Administrative Officer, respective students and their parents/guardians. On Baisakh 30, 2081, (12 May, 2024) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Basanta Kumar Gautam from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IOE Pulchowk Campus and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ram Kaji Budathoki from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University presented guest lectures to the students of Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Manmohan Technical University. The lectures were focused on providing insights about the scopes, applications and research trends in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Dr Subarna Pokhrel, Enzyme Engineer, working as Research Manager of MH2 Biochemical in South Korea, delivered motivational speech to students of Bachelor of Pharmacy, Manmohan Technical University virtually and presented his research work in the company for new protein discovery.
Monmahan Technical University, School of Engineering, Morang and PEA, Ktm jointly organized a Quiz contest Program at the School of Engineering on 2nd March, 2024. Thirty four teams had participated the competition from +2 level Science stream students. The inauguration was chaired by the Dean of School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Prachanda Man Pradhan and the Chief Guest was graced by Prof. Devi Psd Bhattarai, dean of Purbachal University, Morang. Officials from PEA and MTU managed the contest successfully. SikshyaDeep Sec. School of Biratnagr bagged 1st and 2nd positions. While Susma Sec.School and Everest were achieved 3rd and 4th positions.
A Half Day Symposium on "Tuberculosis: Risk and Management" was organized by Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Manmohan Technical University. Mr. Dhurb lal Uranw, Chief Executive Offiicer, Nepal Anti-Tuberculosis Association (NATA), Morang, Biratnagar presented paper on the Historical Background of Tuberculosis. Poonam Bista, District Program Coordinator, Birat Nepal Medical Trust, Morang, Biratnagar highlighted about Tuberculosis its sign and symptoms. Govinda Majhi, TB Province Coordinator, Save the Children explained about Incidence and Prevalence of TB in different province level and Santosh Kumar Gupta, Province Team Leader, Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal provided insight on government facilities regarding diagnosis and treatment of Tuberculosis in Nepal. The program was chaired by Dr. Dipendra Shrestha, Coordinator, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences and welcome remark was extended by Mr. SaiBijaya Rijal, Coordinator, Department of Pharmacy
Department of Pharmacy welcomes Dr. Faruk Alam, Associate Professor, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Assam down town University as a part of faculty exchange program here at Manmohan Technical University (MTU). During his stay here at MTU Dr. Alam provided lecture and share his experience regarding pharmacy practice to B. Pharmacy Students.
